Nestled off the beaten path, east of the 5 Freeway in Leucadia, California, sprawls The Wheel, the creative studio of veteran potter, Mike Totah and his dedicated team of crafters. And though you may not currently give too much thought about the cup or mug you drink your Buddha Teas tea-of-the-moment out of, well, Mike does think about it—he knows that drinking from a hand-thrown piece of his exclusively designed pottery makes the experience a bit more sublime. We think so too, and that’s why we decided to make these thoughtfully designed and created mugs available to you, our beloved Buddha Teas customers.
It’s All About The Artist

When we decided to offer our customers a dedicated Buddha Teas mug, we wanted to make sure our product stayed true to our mission, which in part seeks to provide a nourishing experience that satisfies the soul and pleases the senses. We believe that the tea itself is just a part of this experience, the main part, naturally, but just a part. We believe that our tea lovers expand their tea-drinking satisfaction by being able to enjoy the benefits and taste of our organic herbal, black, green, and white teas when had by using a handmade, exclusively designed mug crafted locally by a sought-after, nationally-known potter. And, though Mike does not himself make each mug (he’s way too busy for that!), one of his personally trained artists does.We are so pleased to be able to share this co-designed, handcrafted product with you. Know that each mug is made with the Buddha Teas spirit, in hopes of giving you the full tea experience you deserve.
